Sheila Collen Richard nee: Spence

April 25, 1970 – July 3, 2024
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our baby sister, wife, auntie, ko-ko, godmother, cousin, and friend.
Sheila was born in Gladstone, Mb. and was raised in Sandy Bay.
Sheila completed her grade 12 at Sandy Bay School in 1992, and moved on to complete her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in 2013 at Brandon University. Sheila was proud of her accomplishments, along with her family.
Sheila was predeceased by her parents Lillian and Wilfred Spence, maternal grandparents Charlotte and Isaiah Whitehead, paternal grandparents Louiseanne and William Spence and grandpa Amab Prince, nephew Isaiah Spence, brother-in-law Darren R. Beaulieu, uncles Alvin and Delvina Spence, Lucien Spence, best friend Patty Richard, godmother Ida Beaulieu.
Sheila leaves to mourn, her husband Alex; sisters Diana (Ray), Leona (Larry), Rhonda, Sharon (Darren), Linda, Rita; brothers, Arnold (Sheila), Wilfred Jr. (Terry), and Shane; her baby Wifred Moose; godchildren, Monica Beaulieu and Lori Richard; aunties Dorine Spence and Yvonne Roulette, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sheila was an avid Jets fan and Toronto Blue Jay Fan. Sheila’s Idol and favorite singer was George Strait, she even travelled to Denver and Las Vegas to see him in concert.
Sheila had a great sense of humor. She loved bingo, playing VLT’s, and singing karaoke. Sheila was a devoted teacher and loved her students.
Sheila loved spending time with her nephews and nieces, especially Gizmo, Jonah and Erroll. Sheila encouraged her nephews to compete in baseball tournaments, she even coached them.
Sheila loved spending time with family.
