Shirley Diane (Mayor) Hillier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, sister and friend.  Shirley lived her life with many ups and downs, but she lived life.  So many stories, so many friends, so many memories.  She loved the outdoors, gardening, camping, working with horses and dancing.  She spent many hours at the Herman Prior Center playing cards and helping out.

Shirley is predeceased by her father Alexander Mayor, mother Carrie Mayor, brother Jim and sister Elenor, special friend Cliff Blue.

She is survived by her children Leighann (Duane), Brian, Mark (Melissa), Brazen; grandchildren Stephanie, Jeremy, Kairo, Itali, Jenya, Tavani, Curtis, Melanie, Jeremy; many nieces and nephews; brothers Harold (Karen), Maurice (Marg); sister Linda; loving partner Don Roberts of Portage la Prairie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to the Herman Prior Center in Portage la Prairie.
