It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend Silas James Wieler on August 16, 2025 at the age of 5 years, 11 months and 18 days.
Silas was born on August 29, 2019, in the Neepawa hospital, the 3 rd boy of Stuart and Sarah Wieler. He was healthy, energetic and full of life.
Silas will be dearly missed by his mom and dad Stuart & Sarah, siblings Lane, Mason, Jayd and Zaya. Great grandparents, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.
Silas was an adventurous boy that looked up to his older brothers Lane and Mason. He quickly learned how to ride his bike, trying every jump his brothers set up and skidding his back tire till it wore through and needed replacing. He seemed to excel at baseball and took every opportunity he could to play catch and bat the ball. Playing baseball this spring was a highlight.
Silas loved his little sisters and got the best giggles out of Zaya. He was a very special play mate to his sister Jayd, often spending time outside or playing horses with her. His cousins were also very special to him and he was able to spend time with each of them in his last few weeks of life. Visits to Grandma and Grandpa were always a favorite. His kind heart and a glowing smile will always be cherished by those who knew him.
Although the pain of losing our dear son is great, we are comforted knowing Silas is sitting at the feet of Jesus in his eternal home.
As family we would like to sincerely thank everyone that has reached out and prayed for us, bearing this grief with us. May God richly bless you.
Thank you to Clarkes Funeral Home for your compassionate care.
