Thomas "Tommy" Richard, aged 78, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Born on May 22, 1947, in Marius, Manitoba, Tommy lived a full and vibrant life that touched the hearts of many.

Tommy was a devoted father to his children, Thomas Malcolm and Tina Malcolm. He was also a proud grandfather and great grandfather to Tanika Malcolm/Austin Brownlee-Owens, Alice Malcolm, Joe Malcolm/Brandy Chartrand, Khail Malcolm, Danielle Fontaine, Hailey Fontaine, Erica Guimond, and Damien Guimond. His family brought him immense joy and were a central part of his life.

Tommy is remembered fondly by his siblings Andrew/Alice, Abby/Val, Sissy, Benjamin/Pam, and Marybell. He was predeceased by his siblings Isabel, Patsy, Roy, Rosebetty, Ronny, and Wallace. The bonds he shared with his family were deeply cherished and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A man of many talents and passions, Tommy found great joy in playing his electric guitar and listening to music. His love for music was a constant source of happiness throughout his life. He also enjoyed carpentry and took pride in creating with his hands. Visiting family and friends was another favorite pastime; he valued these connections deeply and always made time for those he cared about.
