Walter Joseph McIvor started his spiritual journey On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 72 years.
Walter leaves to mourn in his passing his partner Barbara Neilands; Walter’s children Darren Sutherland, Kari Sutherland, April Sutherland, Jolette Sutherland; his former wife Hazel McIvor and her children Joseph McIvor, Myra McIvor, Livia Bales, Tony Bales; his sister Mary Katherine McIvor; brother John Henry McIvor.
Walter is predeceased by his parents Archie and Christine McIvor; sister Ruby Anne and brother Leslie William McIvor.
In Walter’s younger years, he was well known for being an integral hockey player and well as fast ball player.
He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Peacefully sleeping, resting at last,
His weary trials and troubles are past;
In silence he suffered, in patience he bore
Till God called him home to suffer no more.
