It is profound sadness that the family announces the passing of William George Levasseur on Tuesday October 31,2023 at Brandon Regional Hospital. William made his journey to the spirit world with family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents Katherine and Johnny Levasseur, wife Christina (Rose), children; Lee Ann, Albert, and Allan (Junior).
He leaves to mourn his children, Dennis, Kathy, Wayne (Priscilla), Alvin, Denise, Sherilyn, Dwight, and Faylyn; Grandchildren; Claude (Tammy), Al (Jane), Myles (Krystal), Lois (Kevin), Gaylene (Gerald), Maryellen (Scott), Abby, Jody (David), Charlie (Jessica), Albert Jr. (Heather), Dennis Jr., Wallace Jr.(Hayley), Todd (Jennifer), Lydia (Keith), Sissy (Darren), Wade (Jewels), Dixie, Colten, Joleen, Valeen, Samantha, Martina, Dennison, many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
William was born November 23, 1935 in Sandy Bay. William loved to farm. He owned cattle and horses, but what truly set William apart was his deep passion for racing horses. He had an award winning horse named “from the heart”. He was once the fastest horse in Manitoba.
His many hobbies included; trapping, hunting, fishing, hockey and horseshoes. William loved the game of horseshoes he travelled to many places and won many tournaments.
